You have had the tab open for two weeks. You read the page, you close it, you open it again at eleven at night when the house is quiet and nobody can see you doing it.
And every time, you tell yourself the same thing. You are still deciding whether the program is worth the money.
I want to gently tell you that is not the conversation happening in your head. After years of coaching myofunctional therapists through this exact moment, I can tell you what it almost always is underneath. It is not whether you think I am worth $4,997. It is whether you think you are.
Those are two entirely different questions, and only one of them has been keeping you stuck.

Free Information Only Gets You to the Door
I have said this before and I will keep saying it. Free stuff only gets you to the door. It does not get you through it.
Ask me how I know. I spent a very long time gathering. You would laugh if you saw the Google Drive folders I have. Marie Forleo said this, another expert said that, someone else had a completely different system, and every single one of them had bright ideas and valid material. What I found when I tried to build a business out of the free versions is that it was never enough. I was left holding part of a recipe. A cup of milk, a tablespoon of sugar, and then the page just cut off.
That is where it gets overwhelming. Not because you are not smart enough. Because nobody gives away the part that connects the pieces.
Those of us who publish free content are business people. We are designed to pull you in, build a relationship, and establish authority and trust, because nobody invests four or five thousand dollars with someone they do not believe has the solution to their problem. That is why I do it. That is why everyone does it. It is not a trick, it is how the door works.
But at some point you have to walk through it.
CEO Skills Are Not Part of Your Native Operating System
Here is the thing almost nobody says out loud to clinicians.
Business skills are not something you were supposed to already have. Especially if you came from dental hygiene. So many of you come to me and say some version of the same sentence. I can count to 32. I know almost nothing about money beyond paying the bills at home. I do not understand taxes, or budgeting, or how to set a price.
That is not a deficiency. It is not normal that you would have those skills. You were never taught them.
You have to go get them, and you pay for them, the same way you pay for every other expertise you do not have. If you needed a new light put in your bathroom, you would hire an electrician. I pay the plumber. I pay the appliance repairman. I pay the guy who comes and handles the bugs. Not because I am incapable of watching a video about it, but because it saves me time and it gets done right.
Business training is the same category of purchase. You are not buying information. You are buying the sequence, and someone to hold your hand while you walk it.

The Harder Question: Are You a Quitter?
This is the one that stings, and I am going to ask it anyway because I care more about your business than your comfort.
Are you someone who starts things and does not finish them?
I ask because if the answer is yes, that is what is actually playing into this decision, and it is dressed up as a money objection. I have had many students who get excited about everything new. They throw the money at it and they do not throw the effort at it. And every single time that happens, it chips away at their self-worth a little more, until eventually the sentence in their head becomes I am not worthy of that investment, because I never finish what I start.
I started working with a new student not long ago. On our very first meet and greet, after she had already signed up and paid, she told me all the things she had created and started. And I had to say, can I tell you something? I am concerned that you start all of these things and you are so excited about them and you never finish them.
She had to sit with that for a minute before she would agree with me. Then she said, oh, that’s right.
You cannot change a pattern you have not admitted is happening. That is the whole thing. Identify it, then decide it does not get to run this next chapter.
Do the Myo Math
If you are struggling with this decision, do the math. It makes the investment much clearer than sitting with the feeling of it does.
Now, this is not a guarantee of anything. Your effort is the single biggest predictor of what happens in your business, and no program can promise you clients or income. But run the numbers anyway.
If you take a step-by-step framework and put it to use and you sell a couple of packages at the kind of price a trained therapist can reasonably charge, you can see for yourself how quickly the arithmetic changes shape. It stops being a $4,997 expense and starts being a number with a job to do.
And these are not disposable skills. The foundation of your business is not going to change. The AI tools will keep evolving, and I will keep teaching you how to use them, but knowing your numbers, your offer, your client process, and how to run the thing? That carries you the rest of your career.
Your Money Story Was Written Before You Were Seven
They say your thoughts about money were formed by the time you were seven years old. Which means a long time ago, before you had any say in it, your mindset got built.
Mine came from wealthy grandparents and a wealthy father. There was no shortage of money in my family. And what I learned from them was that any spending was bad. You were only a good human if you were saving. Nobody ever said those words out loud. But I remember my grandmother, and if anybody spent money, she talked about them.
Years later I was sitting with a health practitioner, and we were talking about stress, and he asked me if I had any irrational fears. I said no, nothing irrational. I just do not want to drown or be poor.
He said, be poor, huh? Have you ever been poor?
No.
Well, he said, then that is an irrational fear. If you have not experienced it and you are afraid of it, that is what that is.
It took me a long time to be able to invest in myself. I struggled in the first years of my business with that tug. Do I invest? Do I not invest? Now I can put money into a course and pull the value out of it right away, because I have done the work on the story underneath it.
I would encourage you to go explore yours. There are free resources everywhere for exactly this, and unlike a business framework, this one you actually can piece together yourself.
You Can Invest Time or Money, or Both
Sometimes you will invest an enormous amount of everything and still be stuck. I see it constantly with websites.
People spend money getting one built and end up with something they cannot manage, cannot pull data from, cannot install analytics on. So now they have spent the money and they are spending the time too, on the phone trying to get it corrected. That is exactly why my team and I brought websites back out of retirement.
The same is true of software. I have had students tell me they cannot pay for scheduling, cannot pay for a CRM, cannot pay for Zoom so they will use Google Meet.
Friend, when you start a business, you spend some money. There is no way around it. Name one successful business that never had to.
Bootstrapping means starting with no debt, and that is exactly how I started. It does not mean starting with no spending. You do not have to make dumb purchases and you do not have to be like yours truly and buy every piece of technology in existence, because I have done that. But you do have to spend something.
What I encourage you to do is spend money now to save time and heartache later.
What the Twelve Weeks Actually Look Like
The Profitable Myofunctional Therapist™ is a twelve-week, live-taught, AI-powered business build. Live means me and you in a Zoom room. I refuse to teach a class I cannot interact with, so this is not a webinar and it is not a video library you work through alone.
My leadership philosophy is teach a woman to fish, not hand her a fish. So you and I do the work at the same time. Bring a laptop and a second screen if you can, watch me on one and build on the other. I am not going to do it for you. You have to do the work, and you have to do enough of the struggle to get the win and know how to be the CEO afterward.
Here is the order.

Weeks 1 to 3: Diagnose, Build the Foundation, Train the Brain
Week one is the business diagnostic. Where exactly are you? Do you have your business name and structure? Are you insured? Do you have your EIN, your banking, Stripe set up? Are you visible? Do you have a Google Business Profile? Do you have a privacy policy so you are not exposed legally? Can you be found? We go through the entire list, and that list becomes your homework.
Week two is your business foundations department, where we start building out the actual departments of your business, sales, marketing, all of it. We are setting up the infrastructure.
Week three is your AI business brain, and I cannot wait for this one. You can go use a generic AI tool right now and get generic garbage, or get frustrated because it knows nothing about you. So we train yours the way you would train an employee. Who are you. What is your business about. Who do you serve. What is your brand voice. What does it feel like to work with you. You walk out with those documents and you keep them.
Weeks 4 to 8: Offers, Marketing, and Getting Found
Week four is offers. Who are you writing to, who are you selling to, and what exactly is the thing.
Week five is marketing, meaning your message and your branding.
Week six is visibility. Are you findable? Is your website visible? What does the universe know about you, and how do you improve it?
Week seven is searchable content, and week eight is your weekly visibility system, so you are not putting an Instagram reel out into the world willy-nilly. There is a purpose and a structure behind what you publish.
Weeks 9 to 12: Sell, Deliver, Measure, Grow
Week nine is sales.
Week ten is client fulfillment and your operations department. If something happened to you tomorrow, could someone step in and run your business? That is what standard operating procedures are for.
Week eleven is metrics and CEO review, because gathering numbers does you no good if you do not know what they mean. What are you tracking, what does it tell you, and is it worth improving? I can promise you it is not likes. Vanity metrics will not build you a life-first business.
Week twelve is integration and your 90-day growth plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a business program worth it if I already paid for my myofunctional therapy training?
Your clinical training taught you to do the therapy. It was never designed to teach you how to run a company, and most programs do not claim to. If you finished your training and still do not know what to set up first or where clients come from, that gap is a business gap, not a clinical one, and more clinical content will not close it.
How do I know if I can afford a $4,997 business program?
Look at it as a business decision instead of a personal expense. Run the numbers on what you plan to charge and what you would need to do to put that investment back to work. Then look honestly at the second question in this article, which is whether you are going to do the work once you are in. The math matters, and so does the follow-through.
What happens if I wait for the next cohort?
You keep the money and you keep the problem. That is the trade. This is the only cohort of 2026, so waiting means starting over in a new year with the same setup questions unanswered.
Is this live or recorded?
Live. Twelve weeks in a Zoom room with me, with recordings available afterward. I do not teach classes I cannot interact with.
Do I need to be good with technology?
No. The AI business brain week exists precisely because most people are getting generic output from AI and giving up. We build yours together, on the call.

So, Are You In?
You only have one move right now, and it is to enroll. This is the only cohort of 2026, and if you are reading this in real time, the cart closes at midnight on September 9.
If you want to roll into 2027 with your business completely set up, a clear plan for what you charge and who you are reaching, and your AI dialed in, this is the window.
And if something in you is still arguing, that argument is worth having out loud with someone. Book a Get Unstuck Call and let’s talk it through.
You are worth it. That was always the harder question.
