Why Am I Not Getting Myofunctional Therapy Clients?

Selling

You did the training.
You invested all the dolla bills.
You added the letters behind your name.

And now you’re sitting there wondering… why am I not getting myofunctional therapy clients?

Here’s the truth no one wants to say out loud.

Your training did not build your business.

And if you don’t fix that quickly, you’re going to stay stuck longer than you need to.

And the longer you stay stuck – the longer you will be wondering “why am I not getting any myofunctional therapy clients?”

Credentials Do Not Create Demand

This one stings a little.

You are qualified.
You are trained.
You are capable.

But none of that guarantees clients.

Not getting myofunctional therapy clients isn’t because you don’t have credentials.

Not getting myofunctional therapy clients is because you aren’t visible.

If people don’t know who you are, what you do, or why it matters… they cannot hire you.

You don’t have a client problem.

You have a visibility problem.

You need to be building the “EAT” factor.

Expertise. Authority. Trustworthiness.

You Don’t Know Who You Serve

If your answer is anyone who needs myofunctional therapy… we need to fix that immediately. Remember, you aren’t just looking for someone with a purse and a pulse.

That’s not marketing.

You need to know:

  • Who exactly you help (not who all myofunctional therapists help…what makes YOU different?)
  • What problem they are actively trying to solve
  • What they are Googling at night when they can’t sleep

Because vague messaging does not convert.

Specific messaging creates traction.

You want your WHO to feel it gut check them, like “dang, this woman is speaking to me.”

You Are Not Being Consistent

Maybe you’re not getting myofunctional therapy clients because you are inconsistent.

Posting twice is not consistency. (In fact, posting n ghosting will drive you further away from “being deemed as worthy material” by Google. You should avoid this at all costs.)

Mentioning your services once is not marketing.

Consistency means:

  • Showing up even when no one is watching (I did a Facebook live every Wednesday at 2 pm for a year – even when zero eyeballs showed up)
  • Talking about the same problem over and over
  • Refining your WHO message until it lands

This is the part where most people quit.

Because it feels uncomfortable.

But discomfort is part of building demand.

You’re Hiding Instead of Building Relationships

You cannot build a business from the shadows.

You have to:

  • Talk to people
  • Engage with your audience
  • Build trust over time
  • Tell someone you can help them (and collect money for helping them)

That know, like, and trust factor is not optional.

And it does not happen overnight.

If you’re waiting for people to magically find you, you’re going to be waiting a long time.

You’re Stuck in Learning Mode

This is the sneaky one. It might be another reason that you’re not getting any myofunctional therapy clients.

You keep taking courses.
You keep attending webinars.
You keep learning more airway information.

You keep doing all the things – except the things that matter.

But you’re not using what you already know.

That’s not growth.

That’s avoidance.

If you only have a few hours a week to work on your business, those hours need to go toward building demand, not collecting more information and knowledge that you’re afraid to implement. No bueno.

You Haven’t Built Demand Yet

Demand is not given.

It is created.

And it’s created through:

  • Clear positioning
  • Consistent visibility
  • Relationship building
  • Simple, repeatable marketing

This is the work.

Not the fancy,, sexy stuff.

The boring business basics that actually get clients in the door.

Audit Your Last 30 Days

If you want the fastest clarity, do this.

Look at the last 30 days and ask yourself:

  • Have I been consistently visible?
  • Have I clearly communicated who I serve?
  • Have I built relationships with my audience?

If the answer is no, that’s your answer.

You don’t need more training.

You need more action.

The CEO Skills You’re Missing

Your clinical training taught you how to deliver myofunctional therapy services. (Some didn’t even teach the how part – they just threw a bunch of information at you with zero instruction on how to implement it. If that’s the case – might I suggest Learn Myofunctional Therapy in 60 Days or Less? I can personally guarantee that you will learn how to implement myofunctional therapy – because I created the course!)

It did not teach you how to build a business.

And that’s where most therapists get stuck.

You need skills in:

  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Time management
  • Systems
  • Communication

Because if no one is paying you, you don’t have a business.

You have education. If you don’t know what to do with that education – you simply have education. No business. And you will continue to spend time trying to figure out “why am I not getting myofunctional therapy clients”?

The Bottom Line

You are not getting myofunctional therapy clients because you’re not capable.

You are not getting myofunctional therapy clients because you haven’t built demand yet.

And the good news is… that is fixable.

But only if you stop waiting and start doing the work.
